Scope of this Privacy Policy

Venture360, Inc. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This privacy policy applies to venture360.co and any sub-url (Venture360 Platform) owned and operated by Venture360, Inc. The policy describes Venture360's policies and procedures regarding collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the Venture360 Platform. It also describes choices available regarding use of your information and how to update and correct personal data.

This Privacy Policy applies to information about individuals who visit the websites at venture360.co, Liquifi.com, and related websites; use the software, applications, platforms, marketplace, and services available on these sites; obtain products and services from a Venture360 entity; or otherwise interact with Venture360.

The policy does not apply to information processing about job applicants, employees, or contractors. Some Services may have different or additional privacy policies. If you use Services on behalf of an organization or client, this Privacy Policy applies personally to you as an individual but not to that organization or client.

California residents may be entitled to additional disclosures and rights under a separate Notice to California Residents. Individuals located in European Economic Area member countries or the United Kingdom may be entitled to additional disclosures and rights under a separate Notice to European Individuals.

The Venture360 Platform

The Venture360 Platform offers investors and entrepreneurs tools to exchange information. Venture360 also allows organizations to access the Platform for use by their members.

This Privacy Policy applies only to your relationship with Venture360. It does not apply to interactions with any other individual, entity, investor, or group through the Platform. Venture360 has no control over disclosure or sharing by Organization administrators, and is not responsible for it.

The Policy applies to information collected on the Venture360 Platform, in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and Venture360, and when you interact with Venture360's links and applications on third-party websites and services.

It does not apply to information collected by Venture360 offline or through other means, including on other websites operated by Venture360 or any third party, or any third party through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from the Platform.

What is "personal data"?

"Personal data" is any data that (1) is recorded in any form, (2) is about or pertains to a specific individual, and (3) can be linked to that individual. Examples include names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, bank account information, tax IDs, social security numbers, financial information concerning investment objectives, service usage and transaction history, and information requested by regulatory or governmental authorities.

Venture360 may collect information by asking you to enter information into forms, observing your account activity and Service usage, logging your access and activity on the Site, your uploading of documents, and through third-party information providers.

What kind of personal data is collected?

Venture360 collects personal data at different stages of your use of the Platform.

When you visit Venture360.co: Venture360 collects your IP address, the location of your Internet Service Provider, the type and version of Internet browser you are using, and the website from which you came. Venture360 also collects information regarding your site usage.

When you set up an account: You must provide personal data including your name and email address. You may also be invited to provide optional personal data such as biography, photograph, postal address, social security or Tax ID, or phone number.

When you use your account: Venture360 collects information that you provide or create when you use your account, including investor profile information, company information, and any documents or content you upload.

If you provide any information about or personal data of a third party, you are representing that you have all necessary authority and/or have obtained all necessary consents from such individual.

For what purpose will my personal data be used?

Venture360 collects Personal Information from and about you to:

  • Create a user account and maintain your user profiles
  • Analyze and improve business
  • Correspond with you to fulfill your requests
  • Help you discover, bid for, agree to, close, and otherwise participate in transactions
  • Verify your identity and status as a professional investor, accredited investor, or qualified purchaser
  • Set up and maintain accounts for sending and receiving funds
  • Facilitate compliance with various laws and regulations
  • Personalize your experience and customize content relevant to your interests
  • Send you important information regarding the services
  • Inform you of products, programs, services, and offers
  • Study, test, and improve Services
  • Help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of service
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
  • Offer customer support and technical support
  • Respond to law enforcement requests and comply with applicable laws
  • Protect against fraud, Site misuse, and security breaches

Can third parties see my personal data?

If you are an investor, the Platform allows the Organization Administrator to set certain settings in the profile of the Organization's members. If you are an entrepreneur and have posted information about yourself and/or your team, this information is disclosed to the Organizations to whom you have chosen to disclose the information.

With whom may Venture360 share personal data?

Under certain business or legal conditions, Venture360 may disclose your personal data to others:

Within the Venture360 Family — Venture360 may share all personal data with affiliated companies.

Service Providers — Venture360 may engage other companies and individuals to perform necessary business functions on its behalf.

Legally Required Disclosure — Disclosure of your personal data may be required by law to comply with judicial or governmental orders.

Change of Ownership — If ownership of Venture360 changes, your personal data may be transferred to the successor entity.

Sharing with Third Parties

Venture360 may share Personal Information with affiliates and third parties including: parties to transactions, intermediate entities such as funds and special purpose vehicles, securities issuers, affiliated broker-dealer Liquifi LLC, affiliated custodial organizations, service providers for security, fraud prevention, advertising and marketing technology, and any other person under a duty of confidentiality.

Can I access or change my personal data?

Upon request, Venture360 will provide you with information about whether it holds any of your personal information. You may correct, update, or amend your personal data by making changes on the member information page, by emailing Customer Support at support@venture360.co, or by contacting Venture360 by postal mail. Venture360 will respond to your request to access within 30 days.

Online Advertising

Venture360 permits its trusted business partners and third-party advertising companies to collect your browsing information to provide ads tailored to your interests. Venture360's online advertising practices support the self-regulatory principles of the Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA").

Privacy Preferences

You have choices regarding how Venture360 uses your Personal Information:

Accessing, Correcting, and Updating Your Information: You can access and update your Personal Information by signing in to Services and changing your choices and settings.

Update Communications Preferences: To opt out from direct marketing emails at any time via the "unsubscribe" links on any marketing message.

Non-Affiliate Data Sharing: You may prevent Venture360 from sharing your Personal Information with non-affiliated third parties in certain circumstances.

Cookies and Online Advertising: You can block or opt out of Cookies by adjusting settings on your device or web browser.

Data Retention

Venture360 will retain your information for as long as your account is active to provide you services. Venture360 will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with its legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce its agreements.

Can I have my personal data deleted?

You can delete any personal data recorded in the profile you create for yourself as an investor, company, or entrepreneur.

Age restrictions

The Sites and Services are directed at and intended solely for adults. Venture360 does not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18.

Other sites and services

Venture360 or its affiliates may refer you to third parties via links. Venture360 is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these third-party sites.

Social Media Widgets

Venture360's website includes Social Media Features like Facebook and X buttons. These Features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting, and may set a cookie.

Single Sign-On

Venture360 does not utilize single sign-on from third-party websites. However, using Venture360's API, clients may implement a single sign-on solution.

Testimonials

Venture360 may display testimonials of satisfied customers on its site. With your consent, Venture360 may post your testimonial along with your name. Contact support@venture360.co to update or delete your testimonial.

Invite Members

If you invite a user to Venture360's platform, Venture360 will ask you for a name and email address and will automatically send a one-time email invitation.

What is Aggregated Data, and how is it used?

Data aggregation is a process in which information is gathered and expressed in a summary form that removes all identifiers. Venture360 uses aggregated data to generate accurate metrics for early-stage startups and venture capital industries.

What is Website Data, and how is it used?

Website data is aggregated data about the overall traffic to and usage of the Venture360 Platform. Venture360 may extract and use website data for internal purposes to analyze the performance of the Platform and applications.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Venture360 and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users' movements, and gather demographic information. Action Tags

Venture360 uses action tags — small pieces of code placed on webpages or in emails to track pages viewed, messages opened, and visitor behavior. Action tags cannot be removed or deleted by users.

Log Files

Your web browser automatically reports log file information each time you access a web page. These server logs may include information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and other similar information.

Web Beacons

When you use the Platform, Venture360 may employ web beacons to track users' online usage patterns anonymously. No personal data from your account is collected using these beacons.

Behavioral Targeting

Venture360 partners with third parties to display advertising on its website or manage advertising on other sites. If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising, you may do so through the provided opt-out links. You will continue to receive generic ads.

Do Not Track Signals

Venture360 does not track or use Do Not Track signals.

What security measures are in place to protect my personal data?

Venture360 uses physical, technical, and administrative procedures to safeguard and protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Venture360 uses industry-standard technological means including encryption and a comprehensive authentication protocol.

No security system is entirely secure or without risk. If you become aware that any Personal Information appears to be inaccurate, contact Venture360 as described below.

What about Uploaded Documents?

Documents uploaded to the Platform for sharing are stored at a third-party data storage service. All uploads and downloads are transmitted using encryption. However, uploaded documents are neither stored redundantly nor backed up. Venture360 recommends that users keep back-up copies of their documents.

When will Venture360 contact me?

Venture360 will communicate with you in response to your service or customer support requests by phone or email. Venture360 will send you service-related emails if it becomes necessary, and may send emails to notify you of updates or new products and features.

Venture360 may provide links to other websites. Venture360 is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites.

Limitation of Liability

Venture360 exercises reasonable efforts to safeguard the security and confidentiality of your personal data; however, transmissions protected by industry-standard technology cannot be guaranteed to be secure. Venture360 will not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of personal data that occurs through no fault of Venture360.

Choice

If at any time Venture360 wishes to use your personal data in a way other than as described in this Privacy Policy, Venture360 will allow you to choose (opt out) whether your personal data may be disclosed or used for other purposes.

California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users that are California residents to request certain information regarding Venture360's disclosure of personal data to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Changes to the Privacy Policy

From time to time, Venture360 may update this Privacy Policy. Venture360 will post an updated Privacy Policy on its website and may email registered users. Transfer of personal information between jurisdictions

Venture360's collection, holding, processing or use of your Personal Information per this Privacy Policy may take place outside of the jurisdiction in which you reside, or be controlled by a party whose principal place of business is located outside of your current jurisdiction, where there may not be in force any data protection law which is substantially similar to the data protection laws in your current jurisdiction.

Venture360 complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF), as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Venture360 has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles concerning the processing of Personal Information received from the European Union and the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar). Venture360 is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Complaints per the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF

In compliance with the DPF Principles, Venture360 commits to resolving complaints about your privacy and Venture360's collection or use of your Personal Information transferred to the United States under the DPF Principles. European Union, UK, or Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints should contact Venture360 at support@venture360.co.

Venture360 has committed to referring unresolved privacy complaints under the Data Privacy Framework Principles to JAMS DPF Dispute Resolution. If you do not receive a timely acknowledgment of your complaint or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit https://www.jamsadr.com/DPF-Dispute-Resolution for more information and to file a complaint. This service is provided free of charge.

If your DPF complaint cannot be resolved through the above channels, under certain conditions, you may invoke binding arbitration for some residual claims not resolved by other redress mechanisms.

Onward Transfer to Third Parties

If Venture360 discloses your Personal Information to third parties to perform certain business-related services on Venture360's behalf as its "agents," Venture360 will do so only for limited and specified purposes consistent with any notice provided to you. Venture360 maintains contracts with these agents restricting their use of Personal Information. Venture360 remains liable under the DPF Principles if these agents process Personal Information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Venture360 proves it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
